  1. The combined direct and indirect contributions of the coal industry to Vermont's economy are more than $200 million.
  2. Using more than 3,000 tons, Vermont ranks 51st in coal use.
  3. Vermont does not produce coal.
  4. Vermont has no coal-fired power plants.
